Metal Roofing
Corrugated metal and R-panel are cost-effective options for barns, detached shops, and covered patios in Lakota. We install 29-gauge and 26-gauge corrugated with exposed fasteners using neoprene washer screws. For homes, we recommend 24-gauge standing seam with concealed fasteners. Flat Roofing

Ponding water is the number one cause of flat roof failure. We use tapered ISO insulation to create minimum 1/4" per foot slope to drains. FM 4473 rated systems available for hail-prone Lakota areas.

Flat roofs on commercial buildings are a different animal. We install and repair TPO, EPDM, modified bitumen, and built-up systems. Our Lakota commercial crew handles retail, warehouse, office, and multi-family buildings.
Gutter Installation
Half-round copper gutters with round downspouts. That's the premium install. We solder joints on-site using 50/50 tin-lead solder. Copper develops a natural patina in Iowa's climate within 5-7 years. For aluminum, we use Spectra Metals .027 gauge seamless with Raytec hidden hangers rated to hold 25 lbs per linear foot of ice and debris load.
Roof Inspection
Our 27-point roof inspection covers: shingle condition, granule loss, nail pops, lifting tabs, ridge cap integrity, valley flashing, step flashing at walls, drip edge, pipe boot seals, vent function, soffit ventilation, gutter pitch, downspout capacity, fascia condition, decking (from attic if accessible), and visible signs of moisture in the attic. Written report with photos emailed same day.
Emergency Roof Repair
Emergency tarping is the first priority. We cover the exposed area to stop water entry, then schedule the permanent repair once conditions allow. We don't charge extra for emergency tarp jobs. It's part of the repair cost.
Skylight Installation
